2024, the year of MORE
A word from December 1, 2023, speaking to what God is doing in 2024. I believe we’re poised to have a great year IF we so choose it.
In 2024 we will see MORE of the crazy things happening around the world. But we will definitely see MORE of God’s goodness if we know where to look and learn to discipline our heart and mind and will and emotions into MORE of God.
Less of the world, MORE of God
Less of the crazy, MORE of God
Less of popular opinion, MORE of God
Less of “me” (self-centered living) and MORE of God
Daily we choose what we focus on. I pray we focus MORE on God and what He’s doing than anything or anyone else, and that 2024 would be marked by MORE of God.
To do this, we have to WALK in DEEPER FAITH and TRUST in God than ever before. We have to intentionally choose to discipline our hearts into seeking Him above all else. We won’t get MORE of God by accident or because we hope to get MORE. We have to make the choice to discipline our heart by bringing all our mind, will, and emotions, all our attitudes and thoughts, into subjection to Christ Jesus and His Lordship, to seek MORE of Him and His Kingdom, above all other things (Matt 6:33).
Mark 4:24 (NLT) “Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given—and you will receive even MORE.”
This is the sowing and reaping principle at work.
2024 will be a year of reaping MORE of whatever it is we sow into. An exponential year of reaping.
